Following investment in new machining capacity, we have opened up two new places for Trainee Advanced Machinists.  These are brilliant opportunities for machinists who may be working on manual machines, or running pre-programmed CNC machines, to learn CNC programming, gain skills needed to produce large, complex parts, and be part of a top-quality bespoke machining facility.

These are likely to be the last two spaces for a while, so if you are thinking about a move to progress your skill set and earnings, now is the time!  Come to our East Cleveland site for an informal tour and discussion about how our progressive, growing, successful family business could be your place of work and learning.

AWARD-WINNING APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMME

Our award-winning engineering machine shop apprenticeship scheme is more than just a foot in the door – it provides the qualifications and experience required to succeed in our ever-evolving industry. The comprehensive, 3-4 year technical programme combines traditional work-based learning, alongside specialist engineers, with a high quality technical certificate and evidence qualification from a local training provider.

We are extremely proud of the contribution our apprentices make to our business and as well as holding an “Apprentice of the Year” award, we provide excellent work opportunities at the end of their programme. Our high profile clients appreciate the level of skill, innovation and knowledge that our apprentice-trained team bring to each project.

Apprenticeships start each September. If you are interested in our apprentice scheme, please email or write to our Head of People with your predicted/gained qualifications discipline, by the end of April. We are keen to hear from you rather than your guardian, so please write personally, demonstrating your interest and enthusiasm for the position.
