Job Description:

To produce a range of parts from billets, fabrications, castings, and forgings. 

To set, program, and operate

Travel 4m x 2m x 2m, 15 tonne table capacity 
Fanuc CNC Control, 90° angled, orthogonal, and facing heads, B-axis table (0.001°), ATC

Person Description:

This role suits an experienced machinist looking for good quality employment with good conditions. Being a machinist at Tees Components is suited to someone who wants to continue learning, expand their experience and knowledge, and gain more skills.  With our competency framework, machinists with a growth mindset can plan their development with a supportive management team. 

A careful approach to quality is important, as we are trusted with our customers’ components and work to take good care of them. 


Skills and Qualifications: 

Essential:

  • Time-served (Machine Shop apprenticeship) 
  • Experience with milling machines and horizontal borers 
  • Able to set one-off jobs 
  • Programming skills 
  • Measurement skills with manual equipment (dimensions and surface finish) 
  • Able to read engineering drawings 

Rewards and benefits

Permanent Full-time Contract

Salary:

Effective hourly rate £20.91 (over two-week shift pattern), Including night shift rate and shift allowance 

Overtime £25.68/hour  

Shift Pattern:

2-week shift pattern, Compressed hours 4 x 10-hour day shifts Mon-Thurs 07.00-17.30, 4 x 10-hour night shifts Mon-Wed 19.00-05.00, Thurs 17.30-03.30
